I just bought a house and I'm looking to add a video surveillance system for the house and yard. I'm away at work all day and I need a remote surveillance camera. Ideally, I'd like a security camera system that has motion detectors and when the motion detectors are activated it starts Then, it's not recording eight or nine hours a day, and I can review any recordings quickly. I'm not sure if I should use a VCR based system or something else. I mean VCR is such old technology, but at least you can record on the same tape over and over again. I don't want to throw away a new DVD every day. I think there are systems that record directly onto a hard drive, does anybody have any experience with a video surveillance system?

I'm trying to slowly add a complete video surveillance system with a nice surveillance camera to my house. I've been looking at a security camera system that will cover the front door which could be separate or built into the intercom system. When somebody rings the bell, I want to be able to hit a button on a monitor and see who's at the door. Then I can either buzz them in if it's a close friend, or go answer the door if it's like a delivery or something. I don't want to Mickey Mouse something with a cheap webcam. It needs to be subtle and elegant to blend into the design of the house. A recessed camera would be perfect but an entire video surveillance system would be ideal.

I’m looking into getting a video surveillance system for my new business. I sell jewelry and I want to get a nice surveillance camera to make sure I will be protected in case anything ever happens. Does anyone have any good recommendations for a security camera system that is great quality but not too expensive? I’m just starting out so I don’t know if I can afford a really expensive video surveillance system right now.

awesome site. Also, several people suggested Supercircuits as THE place to go and search. One killer surveillance camera may actually be what I've been seeking but I don't know if it will work with the video surveillance system I am looking for. Not sure. And the search goes on.. And on.. And on...

My company is searching for video surveillance system. I'm not sure if anyone else had this experience but it was not easy finding surveillance camera until I found this site. I don't ever think there is a better place to search. Supercircuits was the only place that was easy to use and had what I was looking for. I also saw an security camera system that was really cool. Love to know if anyone finds a better video surveillance system, I really need this to be good.

It would be nice if I could find something to provide my business with some security as it's been a long while since I have been researching video surveillance system. Countless cups of coffee and internet searching later, I finally finally found a cool site to find security camera system. Also, several people suggested Supercircuits as THE place to go and search. There is a neat surveillance camera that seems like it may work. It would be nice to find the video surveillance system I need soon. I want to protect what I've worked really hard for, and I don't feel safe without it.
